As a Sr. Embedded software engineer, you will take on challenges in areas that may include:

  • Design embedded firmware architecture for multi-thread application
  • Develop and enable new product features in embedded software
  • Write low-level drivers and support for hardware / peripherals
  • Troubleshoot complex system failures
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers for a smooth product transition
  • Design and implement system technologies, such as data management and transport

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable skill
  • 5+ years professional experience working in RTOS (or embedded Linux) and bare metal environments
  • Proven strong C development and software architecture skills
  • Debug skills using JTAG, breakpoint, and Bluetooth sniffer.
  • In-depth experience with two or more functional areas such as:
    • Communications: Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, WLAN (802.11b/g/n/ac), NFC, LTE
    • User interfaces for embedded devices: graphics/windowing SDKs, fonts, haptic interfaces, internationalization and localization, LED control
    • Platforms: operating systems, system services, BSPs and drivers
    • Multimedia: audio and/or video development in embedded products
    • Sensors and signal processing: sensor data acquisition, conditioning, filtering, and processing, algorithm integration and optimization

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with hardware debug and ultra low power / ultra small footprint software design is preferred
  • Technical leadership of embedded software development teams

As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will take on challenges in areas that may include:

  • Research and develop new product ideas by owning architecture selection, electrical design and validation
  • Hands-on lab experience with soldering and testing equipment such as power supply, multi-meter, oscilloscope
  • Assist senior engineers with bring-up prototype layout, BOM, components research
  • Bring your design to mass production by setting factory test requirements, assisting in testing program bring-up, traveling on-site to the manufacturing facility to ensure design is properly built and tested

As a Sr. Algorithm Engineer / Data Scientist, you will take on challenges in areas that may include:

  • Create, develop, invent, validate and integrate sensor fusion algorithms for natural HMI device
  • Design and implementation of data collection experiments, algorithm development, integration, and verification of embedded platforms
  • Optimize motion algorithms to minimize processing time and allow results to be available in ‘real-time’

This is an intern position with the option to be converted to a full-time employee. The QA Tester will be responsible for executing test cases against TF’s products, supporting the engineering team and for reporting and verifying defects found testing on Android/iOS/VR games and apps.

As a QA intern, you will take on challenges in areas that may include:

  • Black box testing on Android/iOS/VR games and apps
  • Troubleshoot, report, and follow up on all defects found
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production and Business Development teams
  • Provide post-launch support for all updates to assigned titles
  • Provide status updates on testing results as requested by QA Leads and Managers
  • Attend and participate in team meetings

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year mobile/VR gaming QA Experience
  • Test Plan Creation
  • Mobile iOS and Android testing experience is a major plus
  • Understanding of both Mac and PC operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
